Solar panels in a new build

Installing solar PV in a new build is 10–20% cheaper than retrofitting. The roof is designed with optimal tilt, the electrical panel includes the inverter from day one and no retrofitting is needed.

Recommended combination: aerothermal + solar PV. Panels generate the electricity consumed by the heat pump. 60–80% reduction in electricity bills.

Alt Empordà has one of the highest solar irradiances in Catalonia. 5 kWp generates 7,000–8,500 kWh/year. Payback: 6–9 years.
